About Joshua A. Greenwald, MD, FACS
Joshua A. Greenwald, MD, FACS, earned his undergraduate degree at Columbia University in New York City. There, he competed on both the swimming and water polo teams, earning a coveted spot on the Eastern Intercollegiate Swimming League championship team. Dr. Greenwald then obtained his medical degree, as well as subsequent general surgery training, at the New York University Medical School. He next fulfilled a two-year fellowship at the NYU Institute of Reconstructive Plastic Surgery, focusing on gene therapy of craniofacial abnormalities and receiving several awards for his research on this subject. Dr. Greenwald completed a fellowship in plastic surgery at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga., home to one of the top plastic surgery training programs in the United States.
